Customer Service Representative - Flavors Group

This position is a key member of the Sensient Customer Service team, where you will be required to work on site in the office, 5 days per week. 

What you’ll do: 

• Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, proforma form quotes, returns, and other routine customer transactions / inquiries.
• Ensure customer feedback is clearly captured and conveyed to enable ongoing improvement of fulfillment processes and overall customer satisfaction.
• Proactively manage and support assigned set of customers.  Build demonstrated relationships with customer contacts and deliver superior customer service.
• Communicate with Account Managers and Customer Service Leadership regarding any escalated issues. 
• Responsible for owning and managing client relationships and preserving customer loyalty. 
• Communicate with plants and shipping personnel to ensure order integrity and on time delivery.  Keep customers advised of delays as required.  Ensure order processing errors are minimized / eliminated.

What you’ll bring: 

• Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. 
• A passion for providing excellent customer service. Prior experience preferred, ideally 5+ years.
• Familiarity with Export documents such as free sale certificates, certificates of origin etc. preferred. 
• Intermediate proficiency in JDE preferred.  Knowledge of product lines or customer base helpful.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-growing and hardworking environment.  
• Effective time management, organizational skills with a collaborative and team mindset.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy and poise under pressure.
• Project oriented, disciplined and well organized with demonstrated analysis, problem assessment and problem-solving skills.

This role has a starting salary of $55,000 -$60,000.
