Sr. JD Edwards (JDE) Application Developer

Yes!! We are expanding again!!  Sensient is adding a Senior JD Edwards (JDE) Application Developer to our growing team.  This role will be a key contributor in the development and support of Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne and supporting applications for dozens of global locations. 

What you’ll do:

• Your primary role will be to build high performance, stable, scalable systems.  You will understand business requirements, design solution architecture, and deliver enterprise application modifications, fixes and configuration. 
• You will be a collaborative partner who works closely with internal IT resources and business users.  You will have a good understanding of the functional modules as well as the technical tools and display good judgement when designing solutions.
• Perform data conversion activities including source data analysis, data cleansing and mapping, data loads and reconciliation.  Develop software in adherence to software development lifecycle 
• Prepare and maintain all application documentation necessary to support development activities and adhere to audit requirements
• Research bugs and enhancements in Oracle knowledge base, read white papers.  Implement Oracle solutions before customizations when possible.

What you’ll bring:

• A minimum of 5 years technical experience developing in Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne and related tools.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Significant experience with troubleshooting and issue resolution with complex integrated applications, knowledge of functional and technical capabilities of various JDE EnterpriseOne applications is essential.
• Practical experience with tools such as SQL, XML, Z/files, BSSV and staging tables to integrate JD Edwards (JDE) with third party systems 
• Experience with both JD Edwards (JDE) upgrades and implementations is key. Experience with Microsoft BizTalk, Cloud Inventory MEP, and Orchestrator a plus.
• Able to work both independently and with others in collaborative teams to meet common business initiatives.  Up to 10% travel requirement
