We are looking for an Application Scientist III to join our team. The Application Scientist will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers through excipient formulation, custom blending, prototyping, and small scale and commercial trial batches. 

What you’ll do:

Lead technical discussion with customers and account managers. Recommend optimal product selection based on customers desired target markets and associated regulatory requirements. 

Responsible for technical (R&D) support activities on customer projects. Test colors and ingredients to determine suitable solutions for customer applications. 

Coordinate communications between the customer and Sensient’s Regulatory, Sales & Quality Departments. 

Travel to customers research and manufacturing sites to promote and support the use of Sensient products. 

Experience in development cosmetic applications such as foundations, lipsticks, creams, body lotions, soaps, etc.  

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent education.  A minimum of five years of experience in the cosmetics industry and management experience preferred. 

Leads projects where product applications are required to offer color solutions to cosmetic or industrial industry customers. 

An enthusiastic, creative, and team centered approach to creating an amazing office environment. 

English working proficiency 80%.
