As a Human Resources Manager at Sensient Natural Ingredients, you’ll be the key point of contact for all things HR at our Turlock location in California. Your role will be instrumental in guiding a committed workforce, supporting leaders, and ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience.

This role is based onsite at our Turlock facility, where your presence and engagement with employees will directly support day-to-day HR operations and contribute to our culture of accountability and collaboration.

What you’ll do:

• Guide the daily HR operations at the plant, ensuring smooth processes and consistent employee support
• Partner with leaders to support hiring, onboarding, and team development efforts
• Offer hands-on guidance through employee relations conversations and workplace matters
• Support the administration of payroll, time off, and employee leave processes
• Monitor and support compliance efforts, including health and safety, policies, and local requirements
• Coach managers to develop their leadership and strengthen team performance
• Help shape programs that engage and retain employees, including training and recognition efforts

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in human resources management, with a focus on supporting a production or operations environment
• Familiarity with workplace policies, labor laws, and employee support programs
• A clear and calm approach to problem-solving, with a focus on people and process
• Ability to balance daily HR needs with longer-term improvement opportunities
• Comfort working onsite with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both in English and Spanish, with the ability to connect across all levels
• A background in human resources or business, or equivalent experience

The Sensient Natural Ingredients group is part of Sensient Flavors & Extracts Group and is one of the largest producers and distributors of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.

The salary range for this position is $107,450 - $150,000 USD.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.  In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
