We are seeking for an Application Lab Technician. You will be responsible for flavours and colours applications in products under relevant categories or market segments which include Beverages, Sweets and Savoy. This is a strong resource to the Technical Services Manager with regard from short to long-range plans, strategies and tactics. 

You will thrive being part of a team of motivated people, be collaborative, however also comfortable working alone. Customer, quality and entrepreneurial focus are essential in this position. This exciting opportunity is 100% office-based at our Guangzhou office, China.  

What you will do: 

• Prepare flavour and application samples for performance testing, customer tasting, sampling etc. 
• Maintain the flavour & application raw materials list.
• Ensure and maintain a safe, clean and organized laboratory environment in accordance to EHS policies. 
• Support and assist the sales team for customer presentations and innovation work shops 
• Perform other duties that may be assigned to or required for the job.

What you will bring: 

• Bachelor's degree in food science or equivalent education.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in food industry is required.
• Proven understanding of flavor performance implications of interactions between processing conditions. 
• Understanding of common formulating suitable delivery systems for various application bases. 
• Ability to interface with internal and external partners and customers and effectively discuss the flavor needs, provide direction to help solve flavour performance issues in their applications. 
• Willingness to travel up to 10%, including short notice travel
