Regulatory Specialist

We currently seek a collaborative and meticulous Regulatory Specialist to join our team at our Mt Wellington, Auckland facility. Reporting to the Regulatory Supervisor, you are responsible to ensure that each product used and manufactured in the company complies with the local regulations and legislation. 

What you will do: 

• Generation of technical documentation (TDS/SDS) for product lines and Product Information Form (PIF) for customers
• Ensure the legality /sustainability of manufactured products
• Regular update of the regulatory and documentation databases, with data from suppliers, associations, customers, legislation and attending to inquires on internal and external regulatory matters
• Management of Documentation Software and other regulatory programs
• Preparation of information to assist product registration/certification (eg. TTB, TGA, Halal, Kosher, Organic etc.).

What you will bring: 

• Degree in Food Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of local Food Regulations (FSANZ, MPI)
• 1-3 years’ experience in related field
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts. 
• Ability to prioritize workload, attention to detail, and handle multiple tasks in an effective manner, including ability to review, interpret and summarize technical information.
