Sensient is growing!!  We are looking to add a QC Supervisor (2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pm M-F) to join our team.  You will supervise and participate in laboratory work necessary to assure that products tested meet Sensient Colors, FDA and International standards and supervise the activities of the QC team.

What You’ll Do:

• Set the day-to-day priorities for the team on sample analyses. Take responsibility of all samples in the laboratory, ensuring that test results are accurate and that batches are released within the designated lead time. 
• Supervise and participate in laboratory work necessary to assure that products tested meet Sensient Colors LLC., FDA, and international standards. Maintain a laboratory following Good Laboratory Practices.
• Maintain COA’s and retain all purchased products and raw materials.  Ensure all instruments are calibrated and have daily verifications.
• Administer the annual proficiency test. Maintain a clean laboratory in keeping with GMP (good manufacturing practices).
• Uses Six Sigma or related principles during complaint and laboratory investigations.  Takes on a leadership role as an active association member. 

What You’ll Bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry is required. 
• 5 or more years of experience in a related laboratory experience; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitary design standards and working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communicator with strong cross division/function team leadership skills.
• A highly motivated self-starter who can think independently and yet work as a team player.
