We are looking for an Accounting Shared Services Analyst to join our Corporate team and support the Colors and Flavors businesses in North America.  

Our role is full time with on site collaboration in Hoffman Estates, 5 days per week. The focus of this role is to support the Global Finance Shared Services team by working on process improvements in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting. Standardizing improved processes and implementing the standardization across all Sensient groups and locations will be one of the main responsibilities.

What you will do: 

• Support accounts payable (KPIs, process improvements, standardization, special projects)
• Support accounts receivable (KPIs, process improvements, standardization, special projects)
• Support general accounting (KPIs, process improvements, standardization, special projects)
• Support month end close (provide additional support in AP, AR or GA, if needed)
• Maintain KPIs (publish existing KPIs, while introducing new KPIs to better serve BUs)
• Communicate and build excellent relationship with internal customers/departments
• Support audits (internal, external, bank, etc.)
• Maintain Global Finance Shared Serviced SharePoint site (design, updates, admin)

What you will bring: 

• Bachelors of Accounting Degree required
• 2-6 years of experience in AP, AR or General Accounting preferred
• Work with minimal guidance. Be results driven, collaborative, analytical and communicative. 
• Resolve problems of increasing complexity.  Be organizationally savvy with learning agility and customer focus
• Advanced Excel Skills. Computer experience and functional use of integrated business systems.
• Strong interaction with customers, well-developed commercial sense, and excellent communication skills.
