Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

Based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, we provide differentiated and innovative color solutions within the industrial & specialty ingredients markets.

As our new Supply Chain Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, challenging environment, managing and co-ordinating the site supply chain activities.

What you’ll do:

• You will lead the supply chain team, establish priorities and ensure execution by providing accurate planning, forecasting and supply purchasing
• To do this effectively, you will communicate across departments, driving open communication with internal and external customers
• You will also manage service improvements within budget and on time
• Take ownership of the data within and deployment of, IT tools (ERP, PLM, CRM, S+OP)
• You will direct the procedures for managing inventory in line with unit and group goals

What you’ll bring:

• Ideally 7-10 years of experience in a related field with a clear understanding of supply chain management and MRP functions
• Knowledge of distribution systems, logistics & forecasting
• Strong leadership, time management skills and motivational ability
• You are an excellent communicator, with the ability to retain a positive attitude and flexible approach to working in a fast-paced and changing environment 
• You are a seasoned problem solver and decision maker 
• Ability to develop and manage operating budgets
