Sanitation Supervisor

We are looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to join our Quality team to lead sanitation efforts for the Juneau facility. You will be responsible for sanitation at the facility across all three shifts. 

What you’ll do:

• Lead efforts to enhance current sanitation practices and add more robust programs to ensure the facility is clean and sanitary at all times.
• Ensure employees are sufficiently trained on chemicals, equipment, and CIP processes to perform effective cleaning and reduce downtime in production areas.
• Work closely with our chemical supplier to identify areas for improvement within the facility.
• Supervise, investigate, and correct sanitation issues and implement new processes/procedures to avoid reoccurrence.

What you’ll bring: 

• Knowledge and experience with food safety programs/audits, chemical handling, and preventative measures, combined with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of production and management.
• Strong attention to detail and RCA experience.
• Experience leading/supervising production, quality, or sanitation employees.
• Hands on leadership style and ability to collaborate with team members in different functions.
