Engineer II

We are seeking an Engineer II to help support the Color Division initiatives in the areas of Engineering, Process Improvement, and Manufacturing Technology.  Provide engineering design and project management expertise in the design, construction, and start-up of capital projects at the St. Louis facility. Directly coordinate or provide project oversight of outside engineering and construction firms on capital project executions. 

What you will do:

• Lead and manage all phases of complex projects, including development, engineering, implementation, and monitoring.
• Track project schedules and budgets, providing timely updates to management on potential delays.
• Perform or oversee conceptual and preliminary engineering design for facility projects, including building and process modifications.
• Supervise external engineering and construction firms during major capital projects and ensure alignment with company standards.
• Collaborate with St. Louis site teams (EHS, Quality, Maintenance, Production) and support standardization and testing of new process equipment and technologies.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical disciplines.
• 3+ years of engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with capital projects or process engineering is preferred, but not required.
• Broad understanding of various engineering technologies and systems.
• Ability to think independently, yet work as a team player.
• Ability to interpret and read technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
