Maintenance Mechanic III

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team as a vital member of the operations team. You will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair activities in both mechanical and electrical disciplines on processing equipment in a wet and dry manufacturing environment. This position is critical to the safe and efficient operation of our facility. If you enjoy working on a variety of tasks in your day-to-day then Sensient is for you! Must be willing to work Swing or Graveyard shifts based on the needs of the business.   

What you’ll do:  

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment as well as emergency repairs and follow plant safety and environmental guidelines while completing daily tasks to ensure both you and your colleagues are kept safe  
• Utilize measuring and testing instruments to locate sources of problems, remove defective parts and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Troubleshoot and complete complex repairs to equipment while effectively communicating problem with equipment to fellow employees and/or vendors 
• Perform complex repairs to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatical, and natural gas fired equipment to ensure plant is operating at peak efficiency 

What you’ll bring: 

• A minimum of 2-years of experience in manufacturing performing maintenance and electrical repairs on equipment 
• The ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including engines, motors (480V 3 phase), pneumatic tools, pumps, HVAC equipment and production machines 
• An understanding of basic hydraulics, electrical, welding and HVAC equipment
• An interest in learning how to use and maintain new equipment
• Adaptability to do different activities each day with strong attention to detail

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California. 

The hourly wage for this position is $35.57 USD.
