We are looking for a Sales Account Manager Middle East & Africa, based in Strasbourg (FR), to join our Flavors EMEA team .

What you will do

  • Reporting to the sales manager, you will be responsible for developing value-added ingredient sales activities to food industry accounts (dairy, bakery, beverage, ready meals, sauces, processed meat…) and local partners (agent & distributors) across the MEA region. 
  • A major focus in this role will be engaging and collaborating with key decision makers to develop and obtain new sales. This includes developing, implementing and managing account-specific strategies to achieve sales goal and coordinating creative projects to bring benefit to the customer. 
  • Regularly visit prospect and customer with presentations to understand their needs and link with product portfolio: Senegal, Ivory coast, Morrocco, Algeria, Dubai, Saudi Arabia… 
  • Interface with primary customers’ purchasing and technical organizations in order to solicit new business and to participate actively on long term projects
  • Develop and manage relationships with top management with selective major accounts and develop and execute a territorial coverage plan 
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction  
  • Price negotiating & Customer complaints 

 What you will bring 

  • Bachelor`s degree or equivalent 
  • Sales experience in B2B ideally with value added products, experience manging agents and distributors would be a plus. Junior or technical applicants will also be considered (in this instance, no sales is experience required if you’ve got the drive to win, and a curious mind).
  • Able and willing to travel to multiple customers through assigned territory (travel can be up to 60% and frequent overnight travel) 
  • Able to work both autonomously as well as with a team. High level of self-discipline and motivation. Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks in an effective manner.
  • Ability to work closely with technical and marketing teams 
  • Fluent in English, French and in Arabic (spoken and written) 
  • Good relationship builder, excellent communication skills
