This opportunity is 100% office based in St Louis, MO

What you’ll do:

• Lead and manage all aspects of color additive petition projects, including timelines, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans outlining research, testing, documentation, and key milestones.
• Prepare and own comprehensive petition packages with required scientific, technical, and regulatory data.
• Engage with regulatory bodies, including FDA, EFSA, and JECFA, and represent Sensient at key meetings and communications.
• Stay current and compliant with global food regulations while continuously building technical and professional expertise.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations for color and food additive petitions, including 21 CFR Parts 70 and 71, and experience interpreting FDA guidance documents.
• Hands-on experience preparing and submitting food or color additive petitions, with a clear understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives to successful, on-time completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Food Science, or Toxicology.
• Ability to analyze and communicate scientific data clearly to both internal teams and regulatory authorities.
