Intern - Engineering

We are looking for a chemical or process engineering degree student, to join Sensient Engineering team for one year. You will be based in our location in Milton Keynes, Bletchley, UK, full-time and report to the Site Engineering Manager.

This is a 12-month contract for an undergraduate student studying for a chemical or engineering degree, which has a placement year in industry.

What you will do:

• Work within the engineering department. The engineering team itself on site is relatively small in numbers, which allows for the successful candidate to have the opportunity to play a key and valued role
• You support the needs of the production, R&D and health and safety, within the Sensient Bletchley team and with external contractors
• You will work on a range of projects including: process optimisation, improving the health and safety of current operations and the design and implementation of new process systems
• Currently, there is a great deal of improvement work taking place within the Bletchley site, which will lead to numerous opportunities for you to engage in important engineering projects

What will you bring:

• You are part-way through a chemical or process engineering degree
• You have to be self-motivating and have the ability to take initiative
