Journeyman Electrician - 1st shift

We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to lead electrician work for the Juneau facility as part of a maintenance team with over 200 years of tenure! Join our team with pay starting at $37.75/hour, Central States Pension, and excellent benefits. 

What you’ll do:

• Work with our 1^st shift Maintenance team: Monday – Friday.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, locate the cause of breakdowns, and correct root causes.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state and federal levels.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.
• Perform rigging activities, safety-related functions and other miscellaneous electrical functions.

What you’ll bring:

• An active Wisconsin Journeyman card and experience as an electrician working in an industrial environment.
• Experience in automation, conveying systems, and programming of VFDs.
• A strong understanding of PLC controls and knowledge to troubleshoot PLCs.
• An understanding of basic process controls, PID, I/P, 4-20 milliamp ,0-10 millivolt and proportional valves.
• Physical capability of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Ability to work rotating shifts or weekends as needed
