What you’ll do: 

• Prepare annual business plan and work with the onsite leadership team to monitor revenues and operating profit. 
• Use capital projects experience to add new production lines and infrastructure. 
• Drive profitability through cost reduction plans as well as sales support activities in order to achieve targets. 
• Knowledge of local taxes to ensure compliance and report financial results quarterly.  

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary financial support as Business Unit Controller for the business unit.  
• Understand and ensure compliance with the Sensient Food Colors Latin América accounting practices and policies.  
• Ensure that timely and accurate reporting and forecasting occurs in compliance with Sensient Food Colors Latin América requirements.  
• Provide effective financial and business analysis to support decision-making.  
• Understand, implement and maintain standard costing practices, which are aligned with Sensient Food Colors Latin América methodology.  
• Direct the preparation of the annual business plan at the business unit level, ensuring that it effectively rolls up to the Color group level.  
• Perform monthly review of judgmental reserves and accruals to ensure the balance sheet positions are appropriate.  
• Develop, approve and monitor strong internal controls and procedures.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or five (5) year equivalent in accounting.  
• Costing experience required 
• Advanced business level English skills are a must!
• Seasoned experience regarding month-end close process.
• Previous experience as a plant or business unit controller in a manufacturing environment preferred.  
• Extensive involvement in budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and inventory valuation.
