Director Industrial Operations

We are looking for a Production, Maintenance, and Engineering Director to join the management team at our Saint-Ouen l’Aumône site (Val d’Oise, France).

Reporting to our General Manager and a with a total workforce of 50 employees, you will be responsible for leading the production, process, projects, and maintenance departments at one of Sensient’s key production sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services within time and cost constraints.

What you will do:

• Oversee and optimize production processes to ensure the safety of people and property, quality, deadlines, and costs.
• Plan and manage human and material resources within the allocated budgets.
• Ensure coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement actions, manage investment projects.
• Collaborate closely with various partner departments (HSE, quality, logistics, etc.).
• Establish conditions for a constructive social environment and contribute to the development of key skills for the factory’s operations.
• Build and deploy a strategic vision and plan for the site.

What you will bring:

• A degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, or production) and at least 10 years of experience in managing a production unit.
• Strong managerial skills, balancing high standards with team support; excellent communication skills.
• Sensitivity to HSE and quality standards.
• Ability to manage projects, CAPEX, and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in English in a professional environment (written and spoken).
