Sensient is hiring a Quality Control Technician II to join our team. If you are passionate about quality and food safety, we want to hear from you! You will be responsible for the QC functions at the Amboy, IL facility. This role will be unique as you will be exposed to all facets of the QC department roles to assist where needed.

We have a Monday through Friday 1st Shift opening (8:30AM – 5 PM); hours and shifts may vary due to business needs; may occasionally cover weekend hours.

What you’ll do:

• Manages the shipment and tracking of pre-ship samples including maintaining progress and updates.
• Assists the Quality Control Manager with Customer Inquiry investigations by retrieving Work Orders, batch control samples, HACCP sheets and QC test sheets, as requested.
• Provides QC Lab window coverage on a daily basis. 
• Ensures that there are standards and specifications for First Time Production runs.
• Ensure that all incoming samples are logged and checked for compliance with shipping standards.

Wage Range:

The hourly rate for this position is $21.08 - $28.85 per hour USD.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
