Production Operator

Our factory-based Production Operators working within the Powders department carry-out all manufacturing duties required for the completion of our flavour products, in accordance with quality procedures, food hygiene, and good Manufacturing Practices & Health & Safety standards. The operation is 24 hour, 5 days a week. The operators are required to work a 3 shift pattern: rotating weekly across a night, late and early shift.

What you’ll do:

• Follow and maintain inspection systems, procedures & schedules to ensure that the highest standards of housekeeping, product quality and safety are maintained
• Monitor production processes and methods, propose improvements and highlight to Shift Leader problem formulations for modification that cause production difficulties
• Perform routine cycle counts, maintain stock location accuracy and enforce good stock management practices
• Liaise with Quality Control to complete product adjustment to meet specification
• Assist maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repair
• Observe the Company Safety and Environment policies to provide a healthy and safe working environment for all on site

What you'll bring:

• 3 GCSE Qualifications A-C grade or equivalent
• Ideally, knowledge of GMP and food hygiene systems/procedures. COSHH & HACCP 
• An affinity for Teamwork and problem solving as well as a forward - thinking attitude
