Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to be responsible for the management, analysis, design, optimization, and improvement of processes related to capital projects. Will participate in the planning and execution activities of projects, identifying and proposing solutions to opportunities during the development of the projects, with the implementation of improvements to ensure compliance with operational standards.

What you’ll do: 

• Participate in capital projects to improve business indicators.
• Optimize capital project execution processes, focused on the best performance of available resources.
• Supervise capital projects focused on process improvement, lead time reduction, costs, resource and time optimization.
• Participate in the correct identification, selection, planning, management, execution and closure of capital projects (CAR's).
• Follow up on the development of the projects for daily, weekly and monthly reporting to the Engineering Management. 
• Interact with the Lerma site operational team: EHS, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Maintenance and Production.
• Generate and update Engineering documentation: P&ID's, layouts, capacities, calculation memories.
• Participate and provide input in investigations, root cause analysis, deviation resolution and cases. 

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, architecture or similar.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in process engineering and projects execution.
• Certification in project management, six sigma / lean manufacturing (highly desirable).
• JD Edwards management or similar ERP
• At least intermediate skills in Excel, MS Project, and Visio
• English intermediate - advanced
