Sensient Technologies New Zealand, is a fast growing business unit within the Sensient Flavours & Colours, Asia-Pacific Group.  We provide quality food ingredients to our customers on a world-wide basis, and are highly successful through our attention to customer service, creative technological innovation and product quality.  We currently seek a Production Packer to join our team at our Mt Wellington, Auckland facility. You will demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude. Excellent communication skills are essential along with exceptional time management, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. 

As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be required to push boundaries and innovate onsite in the office, 5 days per week.

What you will do:

• Safety is the #1 Priority – You will ensure safe work and safe product practices are maintained
• Understanding and following site quality procedures
• Picking raw materials and recording product and batch information
• Processing/mixing and packing off production orders according to the daily production schedule
• Completing production paperwork
• Communicating issues or delays with supervisor
• Cleaning and daily housekeeping
• Working hours: Afternoon 13:30 - 22:00pm Monday to Friday (+ occasional overtime available) 
• Hourly rate: between $26.00 and $28.80 depending on suitability
  

What you will bring:

• Relevant experience as a Production Operator or process worker in the Food, Beverage, or Pharmaceutical industry
• Preferred (but not essential) experience driving a forklift
• Manual handling – some physical fitness required and ability to lift up to 25kg
