In your role, you will prepare samples that are necessary to promote library flavors and colors taken from sampling lab inventory or are new formulations, as well as perform routine tasks aimed at assisting Application Technologists in the conduct of daily laboratory activities. 

What you'll do:

• Provide all samples requested using appropriate equipment and procedures, and preparing the samples with labelling and all related documentation for sample submission and delivery to customers or affiliates. 

• Maintain and monitor inventory of Flavors and Colors, other raw materials and packaging for samples’ preparation as well as initiates requests for Library Replenishment samples from affiliates. 

• Evaluate and update Flavors in library with Flavorist and application team. 

• Generate all required documentation for orders (spec, MSDS, Kosher, etc.) as defined by the sample request and record incoming product samples and informs recipients accordingly 

• Perform stability testing, triangle testing, sensory evaluation of Flavors as required and communicates results to formulator. 

• Maintains and monitors inventory of office and laboratory suppliers and generates purchase requests to replenish stocks. 

• Seek to improve ways and methods to become more efficient and better serve the customer, both internal and external. 

What you'll bring:

• Ideally, you hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, or applied sciences. 

• We are looking for someone with 6 months – 1 year in laboratory experience 

• Eager to learn, organizational skills, and basic knowledge of laboratory cleaning equipment and tools 

• Abilities to perform efficiently and amicably while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
