Beverage Application Scientist I at Sensient Technologies offers you the chance to play an essential role in bringing flavor concepts to life. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our laboratory, where you’ll support both internal development and customer-driven projects.

What you’ll do

• Prepare sample formulas and assist senior scientists in application testing and development
• Manage smaller projects and adjust existing formulas to meet project requirements
• Fulfill flavor sample requests and organize raw materials and supplies
• Maintain a clean, efficient lab environment while following safety and testing protocols
• Operate benchtop lab equipment and perform basic lab calculations
• Participate in sensory panels, prototype evaluations, and customer workshops
• Help manage and maintain the flavor library and support pilot production runs

What you’ll bring

• A degree in science or related field with some experience in laboratory or food environments
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage your time effectively
• Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and occasionally lifting moderate weights
• A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills with team members

• Ability to follow lab protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and stay organized

• The salary range for this position is $63,250 - $84,325.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.  In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
