We are looking for a Maintenance PLC Automation Technician  to join our team.  This position is a hybrid of a PLC Automation Technician and Maintenance Mechanic.  If you like Adaptability, you enjoy learning new skills and doing a variety of things each day; Independence, you like working on your own and expanding your knowledge; and Perception, you keep a keen eye on our facility and ask questions when things don’t look right or don’t go as planned – then Sensient is for you!

What you’ll do: 

Install, and maintain equipment used in modern industrial processes.  You will work on a wide range of systems, from the simplest fuses and motors to sophisticated electronic computer interface boards, motor drives, programmable logic controllers, solid-state devices and robotics!

• Perform maintenance in the areas of control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical, and basic plumbing.
• Read blueprints and trade instructions in order to troubleshoot problems, offer solutions, order parts, and repair equipment
• Use your skills to plan, write, modify, layout, order parts, install, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment (including electrical)
• Actively participate in programs to improve workplace safety including, but not limited to, attending plant-wide safety training, conducting near misses and participating in plant audits.
• Determine proper materials, fittings and fasteners for various applications and pressure. 

What you’ll bring: 

• Experience in Allen Bradley RS Logic 5000, 500 and 5 is a benefit.
• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience, with knowledge of Pneumatics, PLC, VFD’s and other industrial controls for troubleshooting various types of manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Your analytical skills to determine root cause issues with equipment failure, or optimization of equipment.
• AutoCAD experience would be preferred. 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; be self-motivated, precise and conscientious.

Specific Rage Example: 

The hourly rate for this position is $32.61 to $38.41 per hour USD.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
