Regulatory Specialist I

Job Summary: 

The job is on a temporary basis (6 months), primarily project-based, supporting the raw material regulatory efforts for the Thailand business, and for other Sensient Asia Pacific organizational units as needed.  Despite being a temporary employment, you will learn a lot from the job.  You will also be able to broaden your professional experience internationally.

What you’ll do: 

• Handle the regulatory-based interpretation and application of supplier information for raw materials into Company ERP systems for high volume projects.
• Generate raw material specifications.
• Assist with raw material data work related to Thai FDA regulation updates.
• Request regulatory information from suppliers to facilitate various project data needs.
• Support other Asia Pacific regulatory projects as needed.

What you'll bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in science (e.g. food science, chemistry) or related field, with a minimum of (1) year of regulatory work experience in the food industry 
• Familiarity with creating UN GHS Safety Data Sheets a plus.
• Ability to review, interpret and summarize technical information
• Ability to communicate in English.
