We are looking for a Flavorist to join our team and support the Flavors business in Tlalnepantla. Flavorist  will need to have solid experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies for the company’s products. Works closely with several other departments, including Applications Labs and Sales. Will be responsible for managing projects with account managers for Flavors BU’s to drive matching Savory flavors.

What you’ll do:   

• Matching savory flavors, working  independently and from formulation to weight all ingredients of it, and deliver to customers.
• Provide QC control support to plant, if expert guidance is needed and support plant/procurement as part of cross-functional teams.  
• Manage/supervise/mentor more junior compounders. Train entry level compounders and management of staff on specific projects.
• Prioritizes projects based on business impact and customer needs.
• Work closely with Application teams to deliver winning concepts to our customers.  

What you’ll bring:  

• 5-10 years of experience as a flavorist.
• Expert in development of savory flavors, liquids, powders and emulsions and their different processes (mixes physical, dried by spraying, reaction flavors, emulsions, false dried, extrusions, flavors of reaction, extracts, etc.).
• Engineer in food, chemical, in QFB (with training in food) with practical experience of chromatography and methods of analysis.
• Knowledge of the regulations, FDA, CODEX, FEMA, European Community and Mexican standards, along with knowledge in the protocol of scaling of flavors, and process experience.
• Fluent English/ Spanish.
