Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist II

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to be a contributor to our overall Safe Quality Food (SQF) efforts.  Our St. Louis manufacturing facility is the largest in our industry, and you will utilize your skills to help ensure product safety for our customers and consumers. 

What You’ll Do:

• Act as a deputy for the Quality Assurance Manager regarding SQF practitioner duties.
• Assist with preparation and hosting of annual SQF audit and assist in preparation and hosting of monthly customer audits
• Generate appropriate certification letters for sample submissions to FDA in a timely manner and all other tasks associated with this submission process. 
• Collect and analyze data to initiate, develop, and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced increased productivity, and reduced cost.
• Conducts internal process, GMP and HACCP audits.      Responsible for seeking methods of improving service to our customers both internal and external.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelors’ degree, equivalent experience or on the job training.

• Organizational skills, exceptional written and verbal communication and knowledge of standard office equipment.
