JD Edwards Security Engineer

We are adding a JD Edwards Security Engineer to our growing team.  This role will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting and proactively updating software assets to prevent downtime or zero-day exploits from occurring.  Provide a strong technical understanding of information systems to address issues that arise across the software and integrations. 

What You’ll Do:

• Provide design, Support, and manage JDE Role security.  Manage 3rd party shared service provider for CNC and JDE Security requests.  Liaise with IT Operations to ensure seamless delivery, support and system usage/performance is monitored.
• Evaluate, Design, Implement and Support Software Applications used by the Global Enterprise Business Teams.  Lead cross-functional teams through system processes.
• Provide technical and strategic support for the server systems and applications residing on these servers.  Identify and implement process/procedural improvements, along with SOP support documents.
• Act as project manager for implementations and upgrades.  Review vendor recommended standards for impact and appropriateness, plan for changes in applications and infrastructure to meet the standards, and ensure that vendor support, contact, and escalation processes are defined and coordinated
• Ensure that operational technology installations are considered appropriately in corporate infrastructure upgrades and planning.  Ensure that Sensient service levels are maintained through infrastructure and application outages and maintenance processes

What You’ll Bring: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 
• 10+ years of related experience and a thorough understanding of application administration: installation, patching, deployment standards, monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and custom coding. 
• Ability to write complex custom scripts to aid in the automated administration of applications. 
• Thorough understanding of B2B concepts. Proven ability implementing new technology solutions and leading team projects. 
• Ability to solve complex problems in area of expertise and mentor team members so that they can expand their skill sets. 
• Proven people skills and ability to represent the team in cross functional IT meetings.  JD Edwards Experience with User/Role Security required.
