We are looking for a collaborative intern. This is a lab-based internship opportunity focusing on food application development. You will involves preparing product prototypes (flavors and colors) for beverages, sweets, and savory items, as well as assisting with sensory evaluations and sample shipments to clients. 

What you will do: 

• Application Development: Prepare application prototypes using Sensient products, including replicating samples based on customer briefs or internal concepts, and conducting sensory evaluation.
• Lab Operations: Perform lab-based activities, including material preparation, experimental design, and detailed documentation of results.
• Sampling & Logistics: Assist in packing, labeling, and sending flavor/color samples to clients, coordinating administrative and shipping activities.
• Sensory Testing: Participate in tasting food products for sensory evaluation.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and keeping accurate records

What you will bring: 

• Education: At least a 3rd-year student in Food Technology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, or a high school graduate with relevant technical interest.
• Experience: Previous experience in a lab setting is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Basic understanding of food science, proficiency in MS Office, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team.
• Safety Requirements: Must be able to work in a lab, participate in tasting food products, and declare any food allergies.
• Documentation: Must be willing to sign a Confidentiality / Non-disclosure agreement.
