Process Engineer

We are looking for a Chemical Process Engineer to work at our manufacturing site in Lerma.

What you’ll do:

• Plan, monitor, and control production processes and variables from start to finish.
• Optimize workflows, reduce production times and variability, and maximize product capabilities.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate process risks while implementing process improvement and optimization strategies.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and launch of new products and projects, taking them through to successful plant-floor execution.
• Provide and maintain accurate process information, documentation, and improvement schedules.
• Serve as a key link between production and the technical needs of manufacturing processes, working closely with plant personnel and technical teams in St. Louis.
  

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in process engineering, preferably within the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related process industries.
• Hands-on experience with plant-level process control, management of process variables, and implementation of process improvement and optimization strategies.
• Experience taking projects from development through implementation and transitioning them successfully to an operational level on the plant floor.
• Technical knowledge of production, quality, quality assurance, and process control in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with JD Edwards or a similar ERP system, personnel management, and Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate to advanced English, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with plant personnel and technical teams.
