Logistics Manager

In this temporary role, you will be the leader for EU flavors logistics and responsible for the management of 3PL Freight Forwarder and external warehousing operations on behalf of Sensient EU Flavors. 

Assisting the Global Logistics Manager & European Procurement Director in development and maintenance of Global Trade and FSMA Regulatory Compliance.

What you’ll do:

• Manage the relationship between all 3^rd party warehousing partners to ensure delivery of Sensient customer service levels and 3PL Freight Forwarder for the Milton Keynes site
• Work closely with Global Logistics Category Manager to support Tender processes for vendor selection
• Lead inventory reconciliation activities at all external logistics sites
• Perform RFP and RFQ Analysis, SXT Logistics Score Carding, Carrier Agreement Maintenance
• Provide Sensient approval to carriers for customs clearance/Tariff confirmation to act upon behalf of Sensient.
• Provide leadership to the logistics admin function

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, or 5+ years work experience at a professional level within transport and warehousing
• Customs' clearance knowledge and experience
• Strong communication both internally and externally, as well as organisational skills to support multiple sites
• Solution orientated and bwe a proactive problem solver, always looking to improve current practices
• Ability to prioritise effectively processing large amounts of data within short time scales to make informed decisions
