We are looking for a Senior Accountantto join our team and support the Colors & Flavors businesses in South Africa. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office.

What you’ll do:

• Full Accounts Payable function for local and foreign vendors, including FX Management – CFC, FEC, hedging, liaising with Group Treasury
• Timely completion of Month End Accounting Journal entries and reconciliations
• Monthly and ad hoc reporting – vendors, sustainability support, etc.
• Statutory reporting – SETA, BBBEE support, prepare VAT returns
• Liaising with internal and external auditors

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree – Accounting
• SAICA/SAIPA articles advantageous
• Experience in JDE or a similar ERP system
• Extensive experience in commercial accounting, FMCG preferred
• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Excel
