Purchasing Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Analyst to join our team and support the Natural Ingredients division in Turlock, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing purchasing operations, optimizing inventory management, and driving key initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for analyzing purchasing data, fostering strong supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials, all while identifying opportunities to improve and streamline our processes.

What you’ll do:   

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including order planning, procurement, and inventory management.
• Analyze purchasing trends and supplier performance to make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize warehouse operations to ensure smooth product flow.
• Support cross-functional teams in the development and execution of supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.

About Sensient Natural Ingredients 

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California. 

The salary range for this position is $68,275 - $91,000 USD Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.  In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.  This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.

RELOCATION: We are unable to offer relocation assistance. The successful candidate will be expected to work at Livingston, California and must reside in the area or be willing to commute.
