Sensient Food Colors Europe GmbH is located in Geesthacht, Germany. We have a friendly office environment and exciting career opportunities. As our new Marketing Specialist you will assist the members of the commercial and management teams for the food colours business. In addition to day-to-day marketing tasks, you lead and support activities for projects across the European business and a variety of different markets. In cooperation with international colleagues and reporting to the European Marketing Director, you contribute to the growth of Sensient’s customer base and the increase of our project pipeline.

What you’ll do:

• Provide PR support and create industry relevant content for our website 
• Analyse consumer trends and market developments
• Create marketing and digital materials for presentations and trainings for the international food and beverage markets
• Provide digital analytics and insights with particular focus on website management and SEO/SEM optimization
• Drive brand awareness and position Sensient clearly
• Enhance our Sensient brand as an innovator, introducing new product development launches and providing the sales team with tools to grow revenue that meets customers’ needs
• Lead marketing events and trainings
• Provide support to the Marketing- and Key Account functions to cater for ad hoc needs concerning customer requests or projects
• Support in creating digital communication with focus on content creation, CRM and management of social media channels, such as LinkedIn

What you’ll bring: 

• Bachelor’s in Communications, Marketing or a related field, plus 2-3 years of business experience in a European marketing environment
• Food or beverage market experience is required
• You bring good communication skills and fluency in English; An additional European language is highly desired
• Good level of skills in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work as part of a team, in particular within the Sales and R&D structures
• You work independently and are used to systematically organize your workplace tasks
