Sensient Technologies (Thailand) Ltd. is located in downtown Bangkok.  We offer you a pleasant office environment, a friendly working atmosphere and a bright career opportunity. In this role, you will develop, implement and execute the Sensient sales activities in order to grow and develop business opportunities in both Thailand and, to add a wider perspective, the neighboring country of Vietnam.  You will be able to search for and obtain new customer accounts as well as maintaining and growing existing business for achieving sales objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct market analyses and identify the gaps and opportunities in the market, in order to come up with strategic account plans to help the company expand its business in Thailand and Vietnam.

  • Manage and train a distribution partner to sell our top-shelf, value-added portfolio and grow the market in Vietnam. 
  • Develop and be responsible for sales plans, targets and forecasts, as well as business development and new projects pipeline to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Provide superior sales and marketing services to customers, focusing on our color and flavor product lines. This includes developing and implementing a customer strategy for each major customer related to pricing, growth and new products.
  • Interact with the Product Development Team to identify customer needs and new product opportunities.
  • Analyze data with regards to sales, costs, markets, new business development and customers, establishing a sales budget for assigned clients.
  • Follow up on samples submitted and technical assistance with support of the Technical Team.  You will demonstrate your presentation expertise by conducting product presentations to develop the business area.
  • Coordinate procurement of Sensient products to ensure availability and monitor timeliness of shipments, goods, samples and invoices.

What you'll bring:

  • A strategic approach to developing and winning business with highly technical, value-added solutions 

  • ​​Your background in food science, chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline, or your strong B2B technical sales experience will be critical to engage in technical conversations both internally and with customers.

  • No sales experience required, as long as you have experience directly working with clients, know the market, and got the drive to win, and a curious mind.

  • Result driven mindset, process oriented, collaborative, project management skills, strong communication and motivational ability.
  • Abilities and experience in managing distributors would be an advantage to you in this role. 
  • Fluency in both Thai & English languages.
