Quality Control Technician

We are looking for a Quality Control Technician who wants to build a career with a growing and global company! Our Quality Control Technicians support a wide variety of quality responsibilities including analyzing, testing, and communicating results for high-quality food ingredients!

What you’ll do:

• Analyze samples using defined laboratory methods (including chemical, microbiological and wastewater).
• Enter up-to-date and accurate records of all laboratory data and communicate timely to internal and external customers on test results.
• Package samples to be sent to customers and maintain accurate records pertaining to samples.  
• Maintain the laboratory in a sanitary and orderly condition and assist in maintaining inventory of lab supplies.
• Perform environmental monitoring and wastewater testing.
• Follow good laboratory practices, safety rules, and GMPs.  

What you’ll bring:

• Experience with quality testing, preferably with food or beverage products.
• Good mathematic aptitude with ability to perform unit conversions and perform/calculate dilutions. 
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to perform analytical procedures.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with laboratory and plant personnel. 
• Ability to work variable shifts, including some weekends.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent credit hours) in chemistry, biology or related field.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF or HACCP preferred.
