VP Operations and Supply Chain

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain to lead the strategic direction for our North American Color production operations. You will oversee manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, capital projects, and operations at our St. Louis, Missouri, and Kingston, Ontario plants. Focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, you will drive initiatives to ensure operational success while continuing to grow and elevate our industry-leading business.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the development and execution of long-term strategies and operational goals to meet safety, cost, quality, and customer service standards for all North American Color production operations.
• Oversee the implementation of GMP, product safety, and plant production standards to ensure compliance with Sensient’s specifications and drive consistent product quality across all plants.
• Manage plant operations and supply chain to ensure cost standards are met, market demands are satisfied, and economic safety stocks are maintained.
• Drive the development of a long-term capital plan and ensure the profitability of production operations while optimizing processes to achieve maximum efficiency and yield at the lowest cost.
• Foster a culture of safety, employee involvement, and continuous improvement, ensuring all team members are engaged and fully supported in their development.

What you’ll bring:

• Seven to ten years management experience within manufacturing operations environment preferably within the food or chemical industry. 
• Your proven ability to develop and lead complex strategies that optimize manufacturing processes and meet long-term production goals.
• A results-driven mindset with the experience to oversee large-scale operations and manage multi-site production facilities effectively.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, including the ability to monitor technology, processes, and equipment to identify and implement opportunities for innovation.
• Your dedication to safe and high-quality food production, ensuring products are prepared and handled according to the highest industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or equivalent field.
