Intern - Quality

We are looking for an Intern - Quality for our Summer 2025 internship program. This Intern will be responsible for providing QC support for the QC Color team. QC support will be in the areas of validation of equipment, implementation of software and/or SPC (Statistical Process Control) trending. 

What you’ll do:

• Validate Software – Validate software on X-rite colorimeters, to ensure that the equipment is producing the same output with the same method.\
• Verify methods – Verifying methods on our HPLC/UPC MS, ICP/MS and ICP/OES to ensure the methods are precise and produce accurate and reproducible data.
• Update SOPs – Shadow QC technicians and verify the procedure or make suggestions to update them accordingly. 
• Gauge R&D w SPC – Preforming tests w various pieces of equipment using methods identified by Quality to ensure the methods are robust regardless of who is preforming them. Use statistical software to analyze the data from the gauge R&R.
• Provide assistance to QC department with any special projects. Projects to be determined closer to hire date.

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of projects and establish and maintain working relationships with employees across all levels. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer or similar applications.
• The ability to deliver effective and accurate results and meet deadlines. 
• Good professional appearance, demeanor, judgment and decision-making skills.
• A Well-organized, detail-oriented a self-starter attitude with the ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment
• Basic understanding of Chemistry or Engineering (University level) and lab equipment
