Manager EHS

We are looking for an EHS Manager for Saint-Ouen l’Aumône (Val d’Oise) site.
You will work at a site employing approximately 160 people, dedicated to the design, manufacture, storage, and distribution of chemical products for the cosmetics market; the site is subject to ICPE authorization and has been certified ISO 14001 since 2016.

What you’ll do:
Develop and maintain the policies and procedures for the Occupational Health and Safety and the Environmental management systems
Drive EHS performance using relevant indicators and communicate on trends
Organize the reporting of incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, coordinate investigations, and communicate the progress status of corrective actions, while proactively proposing solutions
Ensure the compliance of activities with applicable regulations and the prefectural order and act as the point of contact for the authorities
Provide EHS expertise for capital projects and other improvement projects
What you’ll bring:
Master’s degree in a technical or scientific field and proven EHS experience gained in an industrial environment, ideally within the chemical industry
Knowledge of regulations (Labor Code, Environmental Code)
A clear preference for fieldwork and aptitude for coaching and mentoring
Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders in a dynamic environment
Well-organized with strong analytical and synthesis skills
Full command of French and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
