HR Generalist

We are looking for dynamic HR Generalist to join our team.  Are you ready to be the go-to HR person for a fast-paced, high growth manufacturing facility? Are you able to build rapport quickly and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers across all levels?  Do you have a bias toward action with a focus on getting things done and making things happen? What you’ll do:

• Provide operational HR support and expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, organizational changes, learning and development, performance management, benefits and compensation. 
• Consult with leaders on general HR policies and procedures and assist employees with HR related issues, and participate in local, business unit or global projects related to people management
• Act as a central HR contact person for the site advising on HR policies and procedures.
• Effectively manage employee relations issues (for union and non-union employees) 
• Closely collaborate with stakeholders on recruiting, employee relations, talent management, performance management, development, benefits administration, etc.
• Oversee HR and payroll procedures (new hires, terminations, promotions, merit increases etc.), ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Ensure compliance with local labor law, Corporate & Group directives
• Own the recruitment process: obtain approvals, maintain updated job profiles, source and screen candidates, or work in close liaison with in-house Recruiters and local recruitment agencies when required
• Ensure all onboarding and off-boarding activities are delivered and improvement action items completed
• Support the annual performance management processes, as well as other HR projects and change management initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner, adhering to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion
• Successfully integrate Corporate HR concepts and processes into the site
• Actively take on projects/actions arising from the HR strategy or from policy/procedure changes
• Set up and facilitate employee Roundtable meetings, ensuring actions are assigned to action owners for completion
• Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly HR reporting

What you’ll bring:

• HRIS experience: Oracle Cloud or similar HCM/HRIS/ATS systems preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office packages, with strong Excel reporting skills required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, preferably in Human Resources or a Business- related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
• HR generalist experience of the full HR/employee lifecycle in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required, experience working with unions a plus.
• Recruitment experience: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, preparing offers and coaching hiring managers
• Demonstrated ability to successfully and independently managing employee relation issues.
