where you'll work
The Juneau facility, established in 1906, has a rich history in the city. It started as a truck assembly plant, then dairy processing, and finally to yeast processing in 1967 under the name Universal Foods. In 1983, it was acquired by Sensient Technologies and today it has just under 100 employees. The plant's smaller size fosters a tight-knit, collaborative environment, allowing for closer relationships and more direct communication among colleagues. We are also proud to have multigenerational families working with us, along with a number of long-tenured employees who contribute to the plant's success.
