As Senior Sales Account Manager, you will be reporting to the Sales Director Asia and you will be responsible for developing and delivering new sales opportunities for Sensient's cosmetics and personal care business in Japan. You will also manage and grow existing business, be accountable for the development and execution of sales plans, annual goals and initiatives in support of the Division's strategy and objectives, as well as for the sucess of your sales team.

What you will do:

  • Manage Japan Sales team of 2 people and the distribution network to fulfil sales targets.
  • Develop and agree the strategic sales direction with Management for market segments, product platform and key focus customers.
  • Develop new opportunities in Japan across makeup, skincare, hair care, etc., while maintaining existing customer and business.
  • Identify customer needs to generate a healthy pipeline of projects, be clear with business objectives, communicate well with Technical, Marketing, Supply Chain and other support teams to win the projects and achieve growth targets.
  • Understand company offering of solution and services. Annual selling price review with customer, including price negotiation.
  • Ensure sustainable growth while maintaining both customer satisfaction and in line with company compliance.

What you will bring:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in Japan's personal care industry, alternatively in other specialty raw materials in chemical, pharma, or industrial applications.
  • Experience managing and coaching a team and also managing distribution partners.
  • Strong communication and motivational ability to drive strong sales performance.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory to communicate with support teams located outside of Japan.
