Major responsibilities could include:
- Operate and monitor various food processing equipment and forklifts
- Fill out paperwork related to run times, product types, tank levels, and production summaries
- Take samples of product to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform and lead daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation for your assigned area
- Performs other duties as assigned
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Good organizational skill
- Good record keeping skills
- Able to multitask
- Good time management skills
- Flexibility with scheduling (8-hour, 12-hour shifts, weekends, Holiday’s)
- Ability to read, write, and a desire to learn
- Able to handle 55-pound packages regularly and stand for extended periods of time
- Able to trouble shoot packaging system and scales
