We are currently hiring for a Production Planner at our Milton Keynes facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, planning production and coordinating the various functions involved in the manufacture of sweet and savoury flavours. Your efforts will directly contribute to ensuring customer demand is met while optimizing line efficiencies and managing production resources effectively.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules that meet sales demands while optimizing efficiency and yield.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records for scheduling and related reports in the ERP system.
  • Use MRP systems effectively to manage inventory levels and reduce shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.
  • Partner with customer service to ensure timely shipments and collaborate with internal teams when adjustments are necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure availability of raw materials and components for production.
  • Address potential issues such as out-of-code materials, formulation problems, and other special assignments as required.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a planning-related role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in DRP and MRP systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of facility processing and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, both internal and external.
