Buyer

As our new temporary Domestic Buyer you play a crucial role in coordinating the raw materials replenishment from multiple suppliers and potentially multiple production sites to guarantee availability of products to meet customer deadlines.

What you’ll do:

• Guarantee that all Purchase Orders are generated from Reading and Interpreting MRP System Generated Messages
• Manage on a daily basis MRP messages on purchasing area
• Order raw materials to support establishment of an efficient manufacturing schedule while considering customer delivery requirements and materials purchased constraints
• Set up MRP parameters in the ERP system according to life cycle product and manages MRP parameter maintenance on raw materials
• Identify alternative suppliers to better source needed raw materials and eventually implement VIR process to validate new suppliers 
• Analyse problems and solves in the most efficient way possible
• Conduct inventory management, analyse stock levels and optimise raw material inventory to balance customer needs efficiently
• Engage with diverse stakeholders, including planning, procurement, logistics and operations to effectively coordinate replenishment of raw materials to meet production plans deadline

What you’ll bring:

• Organization – Serious – Flexible - Team working: Clear communication and collaboration are essential
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
• MS office (particularly Excel) and ERP system
• Knowledge of internal operating processes including purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory and production 
• Communicates with internal procurement, planning, production, shipping, and quality control
• Bac +2/3 in international trade, logistics or similar or newly graduated
