Responsible for the ordering of material, supplies, and/or equipment, and the follow through with Vendors on shipment and delivery against pre agreed contracts whilst ensuring the contracted price, lead time and quality levels are maintained.

To ensure, through data analysis, optimum inventory levels are in place to meet the demands of the business. 

What you’ll do:

  • Run MRP Reports on a daily basis to determine Raw Material requirements and issue Purchase Orders based on report information/ATP up to department limit.
  • Monitor supplier performance re. Quality & on time deliveries, reporting to EU Purchasing.
  • Provide usage and stock information to EU Purchasing as requested to support creation of RM contracts.
  • Run quarterly safety stock review.
  • Complete local purchasing reviews of NPDs/Commercialization (new business). Report any issues to relevant departments (Technical/EU Purchasing) and support Mass Replacement project with data and analysis
  • Facilitate samples and paperwork from suppliers for new/re introduced raw materials through VIR process.
  • Manage/Process invoice queries from Finance Dept., liaising with suppliers/internal departments.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or minimum 5+ years work experience at a professional level
  • Knowledge in ERP system (JDE as a plus) and Microsoft Office 
  • Strong communication both internally and externally, Strong planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to support multiple sites
  • Flexibility, adaptable and responsive to change
  • Be solution orientated and have a proactive approach to problem solving Creative mindset, always looking to improve current practices
  • Ability to prioritise effectively processing large amounts of data within short time scales make informed decisions,
  • Results-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
