What you’ll do:

  • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency in responding to various requests regarding HR policies / procedures and employee questions for the plant.
  • Administer the direct labor bidding process, leave of absence process, step rate compensation and progressive discipline process for the plant. 
  • Responsible for weekly time and attendance review and sign off of hours. Act as initial contact for inquiries and issues related to payroll or time and attendance for all direct labor. 
  • Ensure employees complete all training timely. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with direct labor employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner, adhering to the highest degree of professional standards.  Adhere to strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion. 

What you’ll bring:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Office products.
  • The ability to be well organized, detail oriented, and a self-starter. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Skills to deliver accurate results and meet deadlines. 
  • Degree in Business or Human Resources (preferred).
