Manufacturing Cost Controller
MANUFACTURING COST CONTROLLER, Colors

We are looking for a dynamic cost accounting professional with a hunger to take ownership of our manufacturing colors business and to make a true difference. Being a self-directed leader, you will learn and get involved in the business and find ways to improve financial performance.
This is a fully onsite opportunity located in our offices in St Louis.
What you’ll do:
- Standardize and maintain up-to-date standard costing system in the St. Louis site
- Lead projects that drive improvement in efficiency, standardization and effectiveness
- Provide timely and accurate inventory reporting
- Offer world class problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Provide financial leadership working with cross functional work teams
- Lead and manage construction of plant operating budgets
- Drive cost savings initiatives
- Provide analytical support for Business Unit Controllers, Operations Directors and Managers
What you’ll bring:
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance in Manufacturing environment
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting
- Computer literate and functional in the use of integrated business systems/ERP. Prefer previous experience with JD Edwards and outstanding Excel skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired to be able to understand our product costing models
- CPA or CMA is advantageous
