Senior Reliability Engineer - Maintenance

In this exciting opportunity, you will enjoy being responsible for supporting the development, engineering, and implementation of the Maintenance and Reliability programs, Capital Projects and Process Improvement for multiple production facilities in Sensient Technologies.

What you will be doing:

• This position will support the development and implementation of the maintenance and reliability activities within the manufacturing facilities at Sensient Technology.
• Support the development of Predictive Maintenance, autonomous maintenance and CIL processes and procedures including thermal imaging, vibration analysis and other CBM techniques.
• Support criticality assessments for manufacturing facilities identifying equipment risks and developing plans for risk mitigation.
• Support Parts Management efforts through the identification of critical spares, MOQ, safety stock and consignment opportunities.
• Support implementation and use of CMMS.
• Provide on-site technical training for maintenance and operations personnel as well as site maintenance managers in the development, monitoring and reporting of maintenance KPI’s.
• Support evaluation of the effectiveness of the Preventative Maintenance programs at each location.
• Partner with project engineers to ensure reliability program is expanded to incorporate new equipment installations brought about by capital investments,  leading Capital appropriation requests and execution.
• Supports or leads Process Improvement efforts.
• Support Sentient's sustainability goals.
• Approximately 50% travel primarily between Turlock, Livingston and Deming, New Mexico. 

What you will bring: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering discipline preferred or equal work experience accompanied with applicable certifications.
• 7 years of engineering experience within the manufacturing industry preferably with multi-site experience 
• Experience working in a Lean Six Sigma or TPM environment.
• Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment preferred.
• Knowledge of plant controls and instrumentation (integration). 
• Bilingual. English/ Spanish strongly preferred.
